Free Games Occasionally, I'll post games here for free download. These will be simple games that I've provided free to the gaming community. More often than not, they will be highly focused games, with limited replay value. Occasionally, they'll be actual games I'm working on, that simply haven't had enough playtesting.
This is a short (two pages) and simple game. Despite my ingrained aversion to universal systems, this just popped into my head one day, and I had to write it out. It's the most minimal of minimalist systems -- one stat. Give it a shot if you want to take a quick break from your normal gaming, and let me know about your experiences. It's perfect for introducing non-gamers into the hobby, but veteran gamers might have a hard time getting their brains around it, because it's so open. Send any email to andrew@plaguemonkey.com and I'll post your experiences here.
This was a short game I created to illustrate different resolution mechanics, and try to explore the possible categorizations of such. It's not really a game, so much as it is a game concept. If you want to rework it so that it's playable, go right ahead, just mention where you got it from.
